The beam is Gorgeous ! at 1 meter measure around 26,000 LUX With 4x 3.7v mAh bright white beam and perfectly round.....
I also had a Romisen with 5 led's :knight:
There is a New XP-G R5 with a special reflector that shows only the yellow part of the bulb .... It shoots a really tight beam no donut hole ..... We all know by now It's all about the reflector !
I just got one with 3.0v to 18v since I use recharge 3.7V and 18650 on my lights ......

I would slam an Alpha G8 or G10 ..The G8 is around $28.00 8,000 Lux+ and the G10 around $42.00 or best offer on ebay

My main question would be is it a real P5 or P7 LED lenser ? I bought one on ebay that the beam had a light shaped like a small house ? When on tight focus, then finally I found someone that knows them well and he told that mine was a Singapore made copy :mecry:

You can get an R5 with 3v to 18v but hard to find .... Most are rated 4.2V and under ..... They Run forever with a 18650
I would get an Alpha G8 or G10 bulb ..... They are Impressive !
I used the R5 and It's nice except the donut hole.... There is a new reflector that fits exactly over the LED eliminating the Donut hole ......
I just got a G10 from Alpha here in the USA ....... WOW ...... 10,000 Lux

LED Lenser P5 would be my choice ..... On a bike you need a light with optimal throw, once parked in a dark area you want to see at least 100 to 200 feet around your location..... Second you need a flood light in case you need to make repairs on your bike at night ! and it uses a single AA Batt...
I just saw on ebay some of the new 2011 Ultrafire lights and they are hot .....
I also saw a new line of Tank007 lights ...... I have a 2 or 3 year old Ultrafire U4-MCU with a Cree Q5 it has been beaten to hell and back ..... The LED was weak, but I just put a new R2 Led in it and Oh My God...
Yeah.... I read the models and saw the images on that Russian site..... These guys are professionals that test lights in the caves and tunnels in Russia, they also do reviews..... in return they get the lights free ....
