Hello, everyone......
Thanks for dropping in and chatting up if or not you have some issue with your lights.
I have tallied up all of the responses so far and seems everyone is happy with their lights otherwise a few problems here and there. Keep them coming and I will keep the original OPS...
Look for "Color Gels & Filters" Where stage lights uses these for effects. Flashlight users have been using them and to some what success. You will have to find the right colors to get the light's temp you need but start by ordering sample pack and trying.
For example, I tried using (trimmed)...
I've been reading up on some and according to some test SC600 can do the following:
Hi 500 lms with AW 2200mAH ========>1hr 30mins to 50%
Hi 500 lms with Callie's Kustoms Pana 3100 ========> 2:08:47 to 50%
If so, How long can 3400 mAH cells will run at Hi?
First test is by our great...
That would do.... Nice. Sorry to hear about the burn light though!! :candle:
I would consider this a bed side light or a club to take with you when you hear things go bump in the night?
Cheers.
18650 fresh off the charger is 4.2v x 2 = 8.2v sure thing it will go :poof:
3 C cells are 4.5v So just one 18650.
I would suggest you buy a light that uses one cells- It will be better all around.
Or run c sized AA holders with Eneloops cells would be better.
That is getting a little bit close to what we want. only 50% more and we are there..!!!
Is there any off the shelve light that is done like that? simple 2-3 modes, 450 to 500 lumens, top xml2 to get close to 2 hour run time.... ? Are we looking at mod'er's special only.
LED tech seem to be more than quadruple in 2 years its seems. It was about 2 years ago that lux1 - 100 lms lights were top of the line and now xml2 and xpg2 are at the top lumen producers.
Can we do 500 lumen one 18650/14500 cell and 4 hour run time yet? :thinking:
That would be an idel EDC...
I have found that some lights , pills, or the switch assembly becomes loose (some times even new out of box) that tightening it can eliminate problems such as whining and/or won't turn on.
This issue can and do effect premium lights as well as cheap ones.
Regards.
You can find some LED table lamps at Target for cheap. Have you seen them?
If you can use them, than it is done. It comes with power adapter for it and the lamp neck is adjustable.
They have a few different ones and most are very adjustable. Check their web site and search "LED Lamp".
The one I...
Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay.....
Its great you got one working again.
Try to see if you can fix the other one too... I'm thinking its has loose connection in the switch.
Re: "Feit Electric" 2C LED flashlight
There is a bit of write up @ Slickdeals and some pictures there too. Seems like a better deal than the one from HD/Defient one? It may be direct driven like those 3 AAA lights but has modes: 500 lumen beam (7 hour run time), 295 lumen (10 hour run time)...
