I just spoke with Streamlight Customer Service who said they are now supporting upgrades.
The part number for the upgrades are:
E-Flood (6 LED flood) is 45842 - MSRP $100
E-Spot (3 LED spot) is 45845 - MSRP $75
Have fun!
holm0299, my first tk40 had a sickly green tint that was very odd especially on low and mid levels. It put out plenty of light, just in a disgusting tint.
The light had an issue with the switch so I returned it for an exchange. The replacement has an excellent tint and the whitest led I own...
Valpo,
This thread is a bit old, but did you end up with a 3220.50?
I purchased the same watch 11/07 and have enjoyed it for my short 6 months of ownership. Omega's prices went up in January so I hope you got in before that time. If you are still looking for an Omega I can highly recommend...
Mr Happy, my C9000 (both the pre-order early version and firmware update replacement unit) have no problems with eneloop, hybrid, and regular Sanyo 900 mAh AAAs.
I know that really doesn't help, but it may prove to be isolated to your charger.
jcompton,
Are you talking about doing a break in cycle on a C9000 or similar charger?
I believe it isn't wise to completely drain any NiMH cell. You probably know this but NiMH cells LSD or "standard" do not suffer a memory like NiCd batteries.
Occasionally (every 50 or so cycles) you can...
Even if you don't need the charger (which are always handy to have around or give to someone just starting out) or adapters, the extra (2) AA and (2) AAA are worth the $2.
A quick update and I will add pictures later.
I recently found that the "newer" white positive spacer on the Hybrid prevent them from making contact in some devices.
For one we have a baby mobile that plays sounds has 3 LED lights and rotating bears. This takes 4 AA cells. Between the two...
The "newer" style white spacer top cells are a hair taller than the black spacer versions.
The white top cells I got tested out on the C9000 "break in" at:
2003 1990 2001 2022
The previous set of black top cells came off the same c9000 at:
2026 2040 2003 2035
I'm not sure there is...
FWIW, I purchased 12 sets of Hybrid AA's and 6 sets of AAA's back when the $5 off coupon was valid.
These cells have a black spacer on top around the positive terminal.
Yesterday, I decided that I won't need more than 4 sets of AAA's and decided to exchange 2 packs of unopened AAA's...
Lynx Arc, thanks.
I've tried some C cells and a spacer in backwards and that may be an option.
I've just ordered a couple of the Cree P4 on 12.8mm discs and some 800 mA drivers from DX. I'm going to figure out some sort of a heat sink to thermal epoxy to the 12.8mm disc. Hopefully a P4...
Hello.
As a soon to be father my wife and I purchased the Tomy Lullaby Lite Show like the one in the link below. It is a 3 D cell PR bulb setup with reverse polarity at the bulb (flange positive, tip negative).

I'm looking for a good way to move...
You should not only be concerned about the posting rules here, but also safety!
Never power on the laser aimed at the ground and then swing it upward in a populated area. Do you know what the beam was terminating on while you were doing this? Could it have been in someone's window or have hit...
cam94z28,
Nearly all of my ROV Hyrbid AA test out very near or over 2100 mAH rated capacity. My eneloop AA have come out at or above the 2000 mAH capacity as well. :D
Many other cells come out ~10% below the advertised capacity. This includes Sanyo, Energizer, and GP cells.
Be...
Hopefully you haven't told the Olive Garden staff how much you found.
That way if they call to collect you can ask them to verify how much they lost. :naughty:
Otherwise you might have someone connected with an Olive Garden employee calling to collect some easy money.
I like the...
I'm not sure how big the beam is at 10M (32.8').
How do you measure this? I don't want to walk out in front of the laser while it is powered on. :duh2:
