    I was searching for a new flashlight, and remember coming across one brand that used some sort of shock-absorbing plunger system instead of springs to retain the battery/batteries? Can someone clue me in as to what brand that may be? Thanks.

    It looks like it has two holes in the ring on opposite sides. I assume it spins counter-clockwise to remove. Is it made of metal - can't quite tell.

    I used a Coast LED Lenser in a cave in Kentucky when the lighting went out. It was way brighter than the cave guide's flashlight.
