Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to see if I can get together with my nephew and see which style of light he is comfortable with and what his expectations are.
Thank you for the links. The specs for the light say it needs batteries capable of 12A but the battery link says 10A discharge capability or am I misunderstanding?
Let's not read into this too deeply. He is a simple homeowner / outdoorsman that wants a light that when you turn it on, you say "holy crap that's bright"!
