    Favourite Budget Zoomie

    I've ben playing with a Brinyte B158 for the last couple nights and while it might not be in everyone's budget for a "budget" light (around $25), it is a fun and decently powerful floody.

    Brinyte B158 zoomie with XP-L HI that was on a flash sale. It's for my son's birthday so he can goof around in the woods going from flood to throw. It appears to be a pretty nice light for under $25.

    For my son's birthday, I got him a Brinyte B158 zoomie with an XPL HI led. It arrived today and I'm feeling more than a bit guilty that I've been playing with it in the yard. Gotta test it out to make sure it's running right, right?:o Kinda bulky but it's surprisingly good for under $25.

    The SC600 MkIII was smaller than I realized, especially when compared to other 18650 lights I've used. 3 and 3/4" long isn't much, but the head might be a bit wide for tighter pockets.

    Turning on my H600Fd for the first time was literally enlightening! I felt the exact same way with my SC600 HI. Really wonderful tools. I'd love to try out the Plus when it lands. Zebralight knocks it out of the park for me.

    What kind of times are we talking when we say "long time"? Will keeping cells fully charged for a month start the damage? A week? A year? BTW, I appreciate the info on this site. I'll bring my NCR18650GA spare cells down in voltage just to be on the safe side.
