    Re: What Happened To CPF's ? That sounds plausible. After I bought a few LED flashlights that worked well for me I kind of lost interest in reading all the high power flashlight stuff being posted years ago. I still have my Arc-P though.! Looks like you were here before me by about 3 years so...

    Yep... Any Photon light will get you by in a pinch. I have a Photon Freedom I have carried for 5 years without a problem.

    ARC AAA-P Light Needs Fixing

    This happened to me also a while back. Cleaning the threads & tube got it up & running. They are out of business because they were much higher in cost than say Fenix E01 etc.. There should be an ancient thread on here on how to check the crimp for looseness.

    As long as any flashlight can pass a drop test from 2o feet several times, its good to go IMO. A while back I dropped a penlight about 3-4 foot & its shot.

    Thanks for the great info everyone.! I am starting to understand better now what has been going on. I have an Arc AAA & like it a lot but, the current cost is really high IMO. The Fenix E01 & even the Fenix E05 are a much better deal cost wise IMO. I would gladly order a couple of Arc AAA lights...
