    Brightex XR-700

I was skeptical too. How about the ThruNite Archer 2A V3? Saw some good reviews here. It seems like a good budget light.

Is this light any good? It's on Amazon for $50. I can't find any info on it other than its website.

    Li-Ion in winter

What do you mean by "specifically ONE 123"? Which would be better, an Energizer CR123A or an Energizer L91/AA?

What would be better for an in car stored emergency flashlight, CR123A primary or Eneloops?

    Where buy Eneloops?

Thanks. That ebay listing for the Duracells is a great price. Comes to $7.50 per 4 pack. I'm always a little leary about purchasing from ebay especially when the price is so low. It makes me wonder how they got the item so cheap in order to sell it for so much less than everywhere else. Has...

    Where buy Eneloops?

Thanks for the link. Thomas Distributing is $10 but shipping is over $6. Costco has 8 AA/2 AAA kit for $28. Amazon is $11.20 for Eneloop and $10.42 for Duracell with free shipping over $25. Right now I think Amazon is the best deal until Costco goes on sale again for $20.

Is Amazon the cheapest place to buy AA Eneloops? They have a 4 pk. for $11.20.

Best General Flashlight 2 Mode $50 2 Mode?

How about the Romisen RC-N3 II. High mode on 2xAA is 145 lumens and will run for 3 hrs. Medium mode is 45 lumens and will run for 12+ hrs. Best part is they are only $25 each so for your $50 you get 2.

    Help choosing light

Update. I ordered the Quark 2xAA Neutral White. I think for me this had the best features. What is this CPF discount? I didn't know about that when I ordered. I think I am going to get the Romisen RC-N3 II as a low cost extra light. I'm also going to need more Eneloops. Man, this hobby is...

    Help choosing light

Thanks duboost. I'm really leaning towards the Quark 2xAA. Anyone else have any advice? I was also thinking about getting a Romisen RC-N3 II as a low cost 2nd light to keep in the car. Any thoughts?

    Help choosing light

I'll be using the light around the house for your typical homeowner uses. The light should have the following criteria: 1. 2xAA I'll be using AA Eneloops...

Help! follow-up: problem with "brightest LED light under $25 the Xmas before last"

Re: Help! follow-up: problem with "brightest LED light under $25 last Xmas" So is the warranty for the RC-N3 really only 30 days or is that just the return policy for ShiningBeam.com? I was really interested in the new RC-N3 II, but only a 30 day warranty would worry me.
