    I also have a surefire g3 (nitrolon body alum head) with a m60 mce. There is a much more significant gap with the g3 than with my z2( all alum) Perhaps that's just how it fits. Maybe gene can make a ring to fit and fill that gap.

    The Malkoff P7 mag is not too pretty with the smooth reflector. There's a hole in the beam. The stippled reflector fixed all that though.

    Does the 26650 size fit a C cell mag diameter wise?

    I just measured the I.D. of the C-cell Mag and it is exactly 26mm. That 25500 cell would fit perfectly if that picture of the digital caliper is precise.

    Thanks for ideas. I just bought that size pvc for my C-cell maglight and noticed I need to take out a little bit of the diameter for the pvc pipe. The I.D. for the C-cell maglight is right at about 1 inch. The O.D. of the pipe is a little over 1 inch.

    Thanks for the heads up. But I'm gonna go a different route with 3X 18500's. This way, I won't have to worry about the length for a 3 C-cell Maglight and I already have the charger.

    Gene, is it possible to also use 3 X 18500's? I figure this way, you won't have to stretch the spring. It should be the same length as the C cells.
