Weapon light discussion, (loosely) related topics welcome

It's a shame 357 sig didn't become more popular. I really liked the round on paper. Never got to shoot it, though. I still get some customers carrying it for their CCW, but that's few and far between.

Rotary Tailcaps for Surefires/ Tactical Light

    Perfect, thanks bud.

Rotary Tailcaps for Surefires/ Tactical Light

I'm only interested in momentary only switches for this use case. It will be used as a primary duty light where it's very feasible I may have to draw a weapon or otherwise endure a high stress response. I don't want to deal with remembering to turn the light off. Squeeze = on, let go = off...

Rotary Tailcaps for Surefires/ Tactical Light

Essentially yes. I'm looking for momentary only press with twist for constant on. The bones only had the forward click tail cap. The elzetta rotary switch said it wouldn't fit the bones.

I've heard of Cloud Defensive, but not the drama. Spill the tea for me if you don't mind. I'm curious ☕️

Weapon light discussion, (loosely) related topics welcome

I am currently a firearms instructor and use a number of Olight PL-Pros and Baldr Pros for student lights as well as a number on rental weapons for my range. I've had absolutely no issues. I also use one on my personal Glock 17 for instructing those classes. Saves me batteries and works with my...

Rotary Tailcaps for Surefires/ Tactical Light

Dipping back into the world of flasaholics. I'm working on a couple new duty lights and it seems the world has changed a bit. I want a new surefire 6PX to mount on my belt, but I saw they all come with forward click tail caps these days and that's not something I'm interested in. I missed that...

    FL1 needs to be revisited

ANSI standards were written prior to the proliferation of efficient LEDs. Yes, their standards could benefit from updating to match the current capabilites w have today. There's no reason to not be producing a well regulated, reliably measured, light that still drastically outperforms most...

    WTB: Armytek Partner A2 Pro

Posting is still valid unless updated as closed. Looking for an Armytek Partner A2 Pro. Preferably a warm tint, but all that jazz about begging and choosing come into play here. If you have any you are willing to part with, or can source one outside the US and wouldn't mind reshipping I would...

    klarus xt11s suitability check

If you want to go that route, pick up the XT12GT. Battery junction has em for 63 bucks right now. 98k throw, magnet charging. You won't get tunnel vision from it, trust me. I just scouted out one of my hunt spots for hog a few nights ago and that XT12GT was the only light I brought that put the...

Maximizing on-body lighting capability in a simple system.

So, I have a bit of experience with maintaining an on-body system in a variety of environments and roles. The best that I've found for me is a primary belt mount light with a quick access holster and a pocket AA light. Depending on what you need, a primary light should be able to maintain...

still dont know what to edc

Hey, checkout the Klarus XT12GT. Used one for 2 years as a work / search light. Drains quick on extended use, but works well. Always to high or strobe from off. Don't do that kind of work these days, but it never really gave me issues. If you trust non USA lights for that, that is. Would...

    When did a Mag M50L become worth 60 to 70 USD? 🤯

I honestly thought flashlights would be safe .... I'm seeing this is not the case so much.

    When did a Mag M50L become worth 60 to 70 USD? 🤯

Ebay, eh? Might have to actually start buying things from there then. Just got caught with the sticker shock when I hit the usual spots.

So, I'm in the market for a new flashlight...

So, I'll throw a few cents in on this, if it's still worth that much. Streamlight - Good brand*, good build*, good UI* *Depends on the light The stinger HL, HPL, and dual switch versions are all solid work lights if you have room for the size. The strions are great too. For a cradle charge...
