    Crelant 7G3CS & 7G6CS (XM-L U3, 1x18650/2xCR123A) Review: RUNTIMES, VIDEO, BEAMSHOTS+

Re: Crelant 7G3CS & 7G6CS (XM-L U3, 1x18650/2xCR123A) Review: RUNTIMES, VIDEO, BEAMSH I got mine (7G6CS) today... I have to say... I'm pretty impressed with what you get for the money. It looks good, feels good in the hand, feels quality, and it really performs. Only time will tell how it holds...

    Looking for EDC LED 200'ish Lumen - Butt cap switch - 2xcr123 3.0V - 80$ max

I would take a look at a Turn-key option from Malkoff Devices. Mainly the Malkoff MD2 with the high/low switch.

EDC light good for weapon use.

Just thought I'd ease your mind some and point out that the Preon 2 does have a clicky switch, so unless you switch it out for the twisty you shouldn't have a problem using it in your preferred cigar hold. To be honest I was thinking the Preon 2 the whole time reading your post... Then I saw...

    Flood headlamp less than $50

I've had 2 Energizer headlamps I picked up at Walmart a few years ago that I have beat up on and used for many tasks. They work great still and they are very budget friendly (less than $30). They have high/low/red functions and they run on AAA I believe. Other people around here have had great...

Need recommendations for a EDC key chain AAA light

I personally like the iTP a3... The Maratac AAA is very similar. It really depends on your usage. The keychain connection point may be better on one over the other for your use. The iTP hangs better on my keychain, but the Maratac will tail stand. Some people may not like the UI on the newer...

Looking for a flash light to use in the RailRoad yard/road.

I would say get a Surefire 6p host and drop in a Malkoff m60 or m61. If your picky about the switch grab a Mclicky. The Surefire would run fine on a 17670 or 2 x cr123 batteries. If you want to stuff a 18650 in there you would have to get it (the Surefire) bored to fit or opt to use a Solarforce...

need to replace my scorpion/need a 2xcr123a LED light

There are a lot of lights that may fit your needs at that price point. You might take a look at the Crelant 7G3CS or 7G6CS... They look like they might be more throwy in that price range (especially the 7G6CS) You might lurk around in the flashlight reviews section some as there are some...

    Crelant 7G3CS & 7G6CS (XM-L U3, 1x18650/2xCR123A) Review: RUNTIMES, VIDEO, BEAMSHOTS+

Re: Crelant 7G3CS & 7G6CS (XM-L U3, 1x18650/2xCR123A) Review: RUNTIMES, VIDEO, BEAMSH I havent bought any lights for awhile. This review and another one by the user named asilaydying1984 on youtube made me want a 7G6cs. Just ordered one of these from you Madecov... Can't wait to check this...

    P60 dropin

I'm pretty sure it just takes the addition of a contact spring. It has been said before that most dropins require this with a Solarforce host. Most people say theirs work just fine without it. I can't speak on this as all the Solarforce hosts I've handled worked fine with a Malkoff as is (maybe...

    Christmas presents edc

Agreed with the above mentioned lights... I would also add maybe the Streamlight Microstream or the Streamlight Stylus Pro. I'm pretty sure if you look around you can find a nice deal on some Icon Rogue flashlights too. Those are great lights as well for gifts.

    Replacement penlight

It has more brightness settings and options. Such as strobes and SOS modes. There is also a lot of parts available for the preon such as different tailcaps allowing for clicky operation vs. twist on (and replacement parts). Some people buy the Preon2 and a Preon1 body and innerchange them...

Anyone else think SWM, Foursevens, and Armytek use the same switches?

They more than likely do. It has been an understanding that a lot of companies order smaller components for their production lights. Such as switches, pocket clips, springs, leds and packaging etc.

    You have HOW many???

Re: How many lights do you have? I try to keep my flashlights down to a reasonable amount. When I start accumulating more and I feel like some of them are going unused I try to find good homes for them with my family or my close friends. Of course there are certain ones that will never leave me.

Why are most of the lights black???

Besides just the industry standard reasons... Black looks more professional and sophisticated to most people. If someone showed up to help you look for something with a multicolored Playskool flashlight you would not take them very serious. Brightly colored = toys to some people. I do see the...
