since surefires seems to aim quite a bit at consumer products (sidekick, peacemaker, fire peak) they tend to get worse in quality control. if that is the path for surefire in the future... what a shame.....
cant find any information about the ui and modes as well as possible batterys on this. could you please post that information (again).
is it right, that ould cost 149 $ shipping included when shipped to germany?
mine killed two o rings within the first week. so i decided to use it without o ring at the tailcap. othwerwise great light and pretty good thrwo from a small single aa.
the before mentioned thrunite archer 1a has some decent throw for what it is. i would go another route: dereelight javelin. you can throw in any p60 drop in. dereelight offers an xre drop in which has really long reach because of the small emitter. you can use it with single aa (with c2h body...
i have a lot of 4sevens, surefires and a malkoff mds ha aa. the foursevens are nowhere near he built quality and reliability of the malkoff and sf. i would throw in a hds systems edc e1s 120. for 99 $ it is a steal.
anyone tested the runtime on the lowest low on a cr123? As niteye claims to have a lowest low of one lumen, to my eye it is more of 0,01 lumen. so it would be nice to know, how Long it would run on that as i would like to use it instead of trits for alocation.
if armytek would give us an update with third firefly mode and xp-g2 it would become my edc. the current version lives on my shelf to remind me, what great buildquality is like and how much brightness you can get out of a single aa. to bad, armytek never answared my question if there will be an...
i can recommend the lri proton pro. build like a tank, lifetime waranty. great ui and secondary red led. small, afaik usa made and they will give you a new one, when ever the light should die.
selfbuilt did reviews of bith lights. i dont think that the et has better throw than the partner. if you do not need a real low, i would go for the partner. otherwise you should concider a quark.
