    I've found schematics for the inductor version, but could someone post schematics for the capacitor version? Again, I'm a n00b and the easiest way for me to figure this out is to start with something that works and then try changing parameters to see what happens. (Thanks for the help...

    AAAs are 1.5 volts, and most LEDs I've encountered seem to need at least 2.2V. Are there lower V LEDs or a mechanism to increase the voltage that I just haven't learned yet?
