    Zebralight SC600 & SC600W discussion part 2

I received my SC600 last week and had to return it due to these small malfunctions...... Fresh out of the box, I installed a fully charged Redilast 3100 in it. I switched it on to turbo (so much more apparent brightness than my SC600W). After about 2 sec. it blinked quickly once and started...

    ZebraLight SC600

Got my sc600w from IG three days ago and used my TF flame 2400 and TF blue 2500 cells (about 3 yrs old now) and although they power the light on turbo, they struggle to keep that brightness for even a minute before dropping down to medium level. The TF's work fine in my other lights, but can't...

    Inoligrnous Chinese searchlight.

I believe the word he (Master-chip) meant to use, but misspelled, is Inglourious. It is a non-word that was used in the title of the movie "Inglourious Basterds", although I may be wrong about his intentions.

    WE Boxer problem

First of all....:welcome: It sounds like a bad cell problem to me. I would check the battery voltage of each individual cell after the light shuts down. It is probably just one cell causing the problem, hopefully. Try this and see what you get. Let us know what you find.

    Stanley HID Technical discussions...

Re: Stanley HID, have questions. Forgive the noobie +1 on that! There are just too many new threads opened on this one subject. Can't hardly keep up with them. Kevin.... First of all...the Stanley is anything but dim. The light on the Stanley HID is Green ONLY when fully charged and hooked...

    Stanley HID Technical discussions...

I found that the best way to see the difference in brightness is to lay the light down on something while pointing it at a wall from a distance of about 2m.....Set the light on the Low setting and lock the light on..... Wait about a full minute for it to settle out completely......Now, switch...

Tactical HID's 35w, single vs dual modes.

Tom, other than my initial battery problems I like my 35w, dual-mode Oracle. Though throw wise, it is no match for the Stanley which I also own. Not even close IMHO. If there was a quality smooth reflector available for these lights (Oracle & Tactical) it might help the throw some, but probably...

Tactical HID's 35w, single vs dual modes.

I could be wrong about this, but I believe most of these lights, like my Oracle 35w have dual mode capable ballasts. The difference is in the battery pack itself. I have both a dual mode and a single mode pack. I much prefer the single mode battery pack as it doesn't self-discharge like the dual...

    Titanium Innovations L70

I was expecting the L70 to look like the L50 and maybe it will. The person responsible for listing the new light (L70) must have had tee many martoonis to have been able to screw up the description that much! Oh, well. Lips, I'm glad you were able to see through the smoke screen and come up...

    Titanium Innovations L70

It looks that way. Even the pics are probably of the L50. I am (almost) sure that the L70 will be a little different in design since it says that the head will swivel 180deg. left & right and 90deg. up and down. The L50 won't, unless I'm nuts. This may be why Matt hasn't chimed in yet. We'll...

Polarion CSWL (Long Arc HID) / Xenonics NightHunter 3 CSWL (Short Arc HID)

Re: Polarion CSWL (Long Arc HID) / Xeonics NightHunter 3 CSWL (Short Arc HID) Great thread, Ken. I actually chuckled out loud when I saw your comparison beam shots above. The differences between the two lights are night and day. Now maybe there will be fewer complaints about the non-focusable...

Great new light I got yesterday

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the "comedy" section?
