In 2010 I started accumulating quite a few Eneloops / Duraloops and some Imedions - more than 100 cells and almost all are continuing to see regular use. I find Eneloop cells that only get lightly discharged (device and usage pattern dependent) or sit around for years with little use (none in this household) will show a drop in capacity that can be recovered with some exercise. Help me understand how the c9000 breakin mode does not the batteries
MAHA MH-C9000 AKA "c9000". Apparently the venerable charger has a legend large enough for Google to grok as the first result links of a Google search for C9000 turn up the MAHA charger, not the Samsung C9000 high definition television.- tandem

First time leaving charger unattended
Folks might laugh at the seemingly outdated Pila IBC charger but it has a nice benefit: at the end of the charge it emits quite a high pitched continuous tone which encourages one to take the cells out.
