    EBL batteries any good?

    Yes https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/test-review-hft-bty-and-ebl-ni-mh-aa-cells.424026/

    Eneloop Purchasing

I ran these EBL's 2500's down in my Quark Pro light which is a pretty deep discharge. Charging all back up put them in the 19xxmAh capacity area even though a few cracked 2000mAh were likely lower discharged. You wouldn't be able to draw near that in a functional device with the end voltage...

First test impression after and during charging the EBL are not very good. I detail in the link earlier where the 2800mAh were tested. I'll have to cycle them at least once to see again.

Test/Review - HFT, BTY, and EBL Ni-MH AA Cells

I got myself an 8 pack of EBL 2500 mAh AA cells. I don't need the extra capacity of 2800mAh and the 2500 were rated for a lot more recharge cycles which is more important. The oem (EBL) on Amazon listing clearly states they're only charged to 20% and to charge them right away. I did and 2...

    Eneloop Purchasing

The AA Cell is labeled LADDA w/1000 printed under it. The spec line says"AA HR6 1.2V 1000mAh" Tan coloured cell sold in Toronto Canada and made in Japan 3 or 4 years ago at least. I have AAA equivalents from the same time.

    Eneloop Purchasing

EBL 2500's are very reasonable. Based on the review/test of their 2800mAH cell and oem spec's. The 2500 have a much longer charge cycle life than the 2800mAH do. That already well above my white Eneloop AA cells on hand. I order an 8 pack of them on Amazon which is less than any 4 pack of...

Are there any other brand of NiMH worth looking at if cheaper than what Eneloops are in Canada.

Ikea Ladda, Duracell, or what NiMH?

Ahh, ok makes more sense as some applications are high current. A couple of amps in two way radios for one example when transmitting. They should take a good input current without issue. I've not run into in my charging either. Total mA in the cycle is close to the spec where the cells were low...

Ikea Ladda, Duracell, or what NiMH?

Just noticed the very low charge rate on those LADDA (post #14). Most of my cells are Eneloop or Duracell and didn't notice that specified. I am always charging a lot higher than that. It would take forever at 250mA charger setting.

Test/Review - HFT, BTY, and EBL Ni-MH AA Cells

Maybe misreading some other than LSD. ELB looked good in the earlier capacity graphs. I'd been wondering whether to try some other AA NiMH battery other than Eneloops. Very interesting, other makes out there and clearly OEM claims cannot be believed.

    Eneloop Purchasing

I know its a long time and warnings about non Japan made Eneloop were to be avoided. I have some white 1900mAH and 4 Eneloop Pro's as well as 4 Duracell 2500 mAH. Most seem to be working fine. Some start charging with high megaohm reading but drop over the charging process. I likely in the need...

Brighter than typical Flashlight seach for all round use.

There are so many LED types used and I doubt many of us are well versed in which are the better performing one. CREE used to be but it doesn't come up as often. Looking for a larger tactical type light which throws a good beam is complex no matter where you look.

Brighter than typical Flashlight seach for all round use.

I'd want something I can use for the while ages ago I had hand lanterns using the 6v batteries common in a 4 to five in reflective head. Most rate near or at 2 million candlepower. Weren't expensive and other had a rechargeable battery powering it for a very long time. With new LED tech its...

    Pick me a charger.

Looks like a pretty good model have read review and spec's Brick charger port and not a USB charger. I hate having to use a USB adapter few are built for the task required!! Aliexpress carries them. Said new version although its not clear how to know or what the change was.
