What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Zebralight SC52 - nice device for EDC. So small with a lot of punch when using a 16340 Li-Ion cell.

WTS: P60 Drop in Light Engine

Re: vinhnguyen54 D26 P60 Dropn Ins All Copper Bonded PCBs even XP-G2s, MT-G2 ;-) Hi Vinh! I'd like to try the insane 3000+ lumens direct drive MT-G2. Which affordable host would you recommend? It would probably not be a good idea to put it in my SolarForce L2P with extensor (2x18650)??

    Show your Solarforce Part II

XP-G2 with a smooth reflector throws like a champ in a Solarforce P60 host, nice tight hotspot with a smooth transition to a wide usable spill. You should definitely get one of these. I will any day use my XP-G2 drop in from vinhnguyen54 (2.1A neutral) over any XM-L. The tint and beamprofile is...

Are there drop-ins I should avoid

Where did you get the 250 OTF lumens number from? Do you drive the drop in with 3.7 or 7.4v? I measured the following current at the tailcap: 3.7v - 0.33A, 7.4v - 0.63A. Do you have some numbers to compare with?

So a standard P60 drop in pill fits the M3 head then?

Nice combo you got there. How are the S9 tail cap in terms of sharpness of the SS bezel? I bought a S11 and simply hated it. Very inconvenient for the thumb and difficult to press. Did you get a special drop in made for the M3 or just the pill?

The current @ 4.2V is 2.26A. Amazing beam and tint. You know at which voltage it will start getting dimmer (direct drive)?

    Sold/Expired NEW XML2 90 + HIGH CRI P60 / D26 Replacement Modules

Re: 90+ HIGH CRI CREE XML P60 / D26 replacement modules. Hi Dave! I just posted the 1.55A @ 3.6V as a general reply to the 2 earlier posts from ToyTank and mvyrmnd regarding the type of driver. The earlier test WAS done with a fully charged 4.2V cell. As I replied in the PM I'd like to do some...

    vinhnguyen54 D26/P60 XPE-R4 & XP-G2 Drop In

I got 1.4A @ 3.6V. I assumes this is because the driver goes in direct drive. At which voltage will it go in to direct drive?

    Test/Review of Keeppower 18650 3400mAh (Black)

Just got 2 fine batteries today. The came charged @ 3.64 v which is a kind of low storage voltage? Recommended is 40% which I calculates to 3.78 V.

    Sold/Expired NEW XML2 90 + HIGH CRI P60 / D26 Replacement Modules

Re: 90+ HIGH CRI CREE XML P60 / D26 replacement modules. I just tried with a brand new 3.6 V Keeppower 18650 - I measured 1.55A @ tailcap. Nailbender could you confirm you are using a linear driver and which one and not a buck? Is it a Nanjg?

Thanks a lot! You use the same drivers for your XM-L drop-ins? I removed the S1 bridge to make it a no memory. Works fine.
