    Coleman "Kid's" Lantern With Remote (5310-710K )

Re: Coleman - UPDATE I just got the 2 I ordered from Coleman today & am very impressed with the quality construction for the price. They are plastic, but a very strudy material, not the cheap, lightweight stuff you'd expect on $10 lamp with a remote. The bulb holding device is one that...

    Princeton Tec Surge

The battery pack is much easier to remove when it has batteries in it. The weight pretty much allows it to fall out when the tabs are pushed. A rubberband will take care of the accidential engagement of the switch when packed. Great light, for the price, to have around the house or on the...

    ARC LS First Run Review

I too have an original 1st run LS an very happy with it. No clickie on it, & I have a lot of other lights that are brighter.....but none that'll fit in the watchpocket of my jeans. It's a keeper.

    Glowring

I concur. But even though the green is the brightest, the other colors are great also. I have 2 of each (except the orange...only 1 of them). No pink, but a BUNCH of green ones.

    Lighters with LEDs Questions *DELETED*

Re: Lighters with LEDs Questions Sloegin, Get the Firelight & tape it to the SF M6. Lighter works great, as does the M6 (a little bulky for front pocket carry, unless you're a kangaroo). : ^ )

    Brunton's Firelight, how is it?

Re: Brunton\'s Firelight, how is it? newbie, Welcome to CPF. I have a Firelight & like it a lot. But there is a fine line here. If you're looking for a good windproof lighter, it's great. For a name brand windproof, it's cheaper than most ($28+ change from TAD}. Very well made & a pleasure...

Difference between Arc AAA and Inova minilight?

Re: Difference between Arc AAA and Inova minilight I used to carry a white Inova on my key chain & a turq ARC AAA on a lanyard around my neck. I still carry the ARC, but twice I had the Inova come on in my pocket & run the batteries down, so I quit carrying it. Don't know how it happened as...

    Dorcy 4AA focusing lantern

[ QUOTE ] Lightwave said: txwest, That's a great idea, using a 3 volt LED first with one set of 2 cells, then the second set, and then finally going to 3 and 4 cells as they become weaker. How do you perform the switching - did you rig up a switch, or do you have some sort of a jumper in the...

    Anyone got a Blue L1?

I got the green one & liked it so much, got the white one. Get the green. A much better light. A little WriteRight helps smooth the beam. Next on my list is the SL Key Mate, which is great in white. I have high expectations for the green one. (get them both in green from Brightguy).

    Surefire water resistance

This weekend, due to my son not getting out of my Poke Boat very gracefully, my 6P with the extension to make it a 9P, & a turbohead, spent the night (about 10 hrs), along with my G2Z, in 4 feet of water at the lake. No leakage on either light. The extension doesn't even have an o-ring.

How much life left for the B90 batt (80X) that's..

Re: How much life left for the B90 batt (80X) that\'s.. I had a B90 that started leaking acid, so SF sent me a new one. Had to wait about 2 months while they got their "new, improved" version. Unfortuanetly, after a full charge, & no use, it will be dead in 3 1/2 weeks. Very dissapointing...

Mag 3 cell bulb in a 4 cell - how long?

I would recomend using a good 4 cell bulb until you start to notice it getting a little dim, the switch to the 3 cell lamp.

    G2 carry options...

The metal loop will work if you shorten the tail cap. Otherwise you can't screw it down to constant on. (at least on the ones I had) I traded them off when I got the G2Z.
