Re: RICHARD @ MOUNTAIN ELECTRONICS. Best service and products available.
Richard rocks. His products and service are top notch! I have ordered a couple times from him. Excellent customer service!!!
Package recieved!!
I've never seen the wife so happy about me getting a new flashlight. She was all interested on how the UI works for the 2 emitters and how to change levels etc. (Maybe it was the fact that I didn't fork out a chunk of money to get it?) lol
Thanks again Doc. This thread...
Wow Doc! That is such an awesome giveaway!
I would like to enter the draw although it would be to regift it. My brother in law is a RCMP officer and all he has is a Maglight for his work. He deserves something way better for service out in the field.
"and you thought Surefire made tough lights!"
Hey Tom,
Thanks for your help. The capacity is unknown at the moment. This would be to put my name in for a giveaway in the giveaway thread. I will just sit that one out and let it go to someone else who has a proper charger for that light/battery.
Thanks again,
Bart
The charger uses 0.5A current (I can trick it to charge at either 1A or 0.5A), dv/dt termination and does not trickle charge.
I am trying to avoid buying another charger. I will just avoid the battery altogether if it's not safe to use at 0.5A without worry.
HKJ review of same charger HERE.
AAAA Ni-MH Safe Charging Amperage?
Would this be as simple as 1C normal charge and a max of 2C charge???
Wondering if my Fenix ARE-C2 charger would be safe to charge AAAA batteries.
