Think for a moment. What is your favorite flashlight?

My Armytek Predator Pro 2.5. Build quality is top notch, love the tight, throw-oriented beam. The UI is great too, completely programmable and flexible but simple in actual use.

    E-fest 3500mAh IMR for single-cell bike light

Hello, I am looking for a cell for use in a single-cell 18650 bike light. From my research on the light it has a 1000 lumen Turbo mode that looks powerful but drops out of regulation fairly quickly. I'm settled on picking the light because it has the features I'd like: Good price, cut-off...

Looking for replacement lens and reflector for Supbeam k50.

I have a Supbeam K50vn (de-domed and overdriven) that took a hard drop. The lens has broken and sprinkled the reflector with tiny pieces of glass. I would like to replace both the lens and reflector if its possible. Can anyone recommend a source for these parts? Thanks

Decisions are hard. Help with new EDC light.

I imagine you'd be quite happy. It's a very good balance of performance and quality at a reasonable price. I love my SC52 but I did feel a bit uneasy about the money I'd lost when it "disappeared".

Decisions are hard. Help with new EDC light.

My two EDCs are a Zebralight SC52 and a Klarus Mi7. I bought the Klarus after "losing" my SC52, it was later found :) Even with the return of a Zebralight I still often prefer to carry the Mi7. SC52 has the edge in mode selection but I prefer the slimmer profile of the Mi7. The Mi7 is also...

    Review: Klarus Mi7 (1xAA/14500)

Received my Olive Mi7 yesterday, nice little light. I wanted a reasonably priced replacement for my missing ZL SC52 (fingers crossed it shows up somewhere): 1) Finish is good quality. The olive is similar to Zebralight finish though it has a touch more sheen to it, the ZL finish is flatter...

Anyone else sick of cr123 and 1aa/1aaa lights?

1xAA is my preferred EDC. Small and pocket able and powerful enough for my tasks. Can be used with 14500 for more punch but have many options for types of AA to use in a pinch. Smaller 18650 is nice too and way more power and capacity for not much more size but I've never felt as comfortable...

    Favorite 2xAAA Stylus/Pen Lights

I have both a Preon II Titanium and an Olight O'pen. They are both very attractive lights (IMO). The titanium looks a bit slicker but the O'pen in dark brown looks great as well. The Preon is mostly a cylinder whereas the O'pen tapers down and looks more pen-like. They perform quite...

    Any 14500 love out there?

I've always found the best use for a 14500 is in the 1x14500 scenario. Big reason there aren't many multi 14500 lights is that most people want AA in that form factor and once you add multiple 14500s in series, you quickly get a large voltage. It's hard to design a driver that perform well...

    Armytek Prime C2 first impressions

Update here, been getting more use from my Tiara A1 Pro Warm and my C2 Prime Pro Warm. I can comfortably say I am quite happy with both of these lights. They operate well and have a sensible design. The C2 feels excellent in hand and the beam pattern is well suited to walking and general use.

    ArmyTek Predator 2.5 (XP-G2 R5 1x18650 2xCR123A/RCR) Regular and Pro Review: RUNTIME+

I can't speak it to it but hopefully a review comes out soon :)

    HELP!! AA Battery Question

Generally 14500 can only be used in AA based lights in the 1 x AA configuration. This is because some 1 x AA lights allow higher input voltage (ie ZL SC52, Quark AA, Armytek Tiara etc....) and properly regulate. Additionally even the drivers that are "boost only", ie meant to bring the...

    Side-switch fans... let's discuss lights with side-switches

I've got a ZL SC52 and Armytek Tiara A1 Pro Warm and C2 Prime Pro Warm. The Tiara is a headlamp (in my use anyway) so I'll exclude it from my comments. I'm a fan of the side switch, especially in EDC sized lights. I definitely still prefer a rear mounted, forward-type clicky switch in many...

    Armytek Prime C2 first impressions

That's valid for sure. I found the switch fine but on the tight side. I do like the insurance against accidental clicks but my GF also commented the switch was a bit too much.
