So I ordered these from DX. http://www.dx.com/p/genuine-panasonic-18650-3100mah-rechargeable-battery-with-protection-board-green-pair-121444#.U_BWf01OW70
The batteries I received were measured at 3.9v, which according to the reviews on this, would indicate a fake. However, they look exactly...
I also haven't had any problems with 4D Ni-MH with this setup. The heatsinking actually doesn't need to be that much, a small slug of aluminum on the 7135 chips will do, one side can go to the body, the other side can just be in free air (w/slug).
So I'm in an electronics program now, and I'm playing around with stuff, I started getting interested in converting an ATX power supply to a bench top power supply to tinker with. Then I thought, hey I could probably use this to tinker with LEDs too.
So I have a question regarding this...
I thought I saw a thread on where these could be bought, but I'll be damned if I can find it (and I looked). Anyone have a source in the US, or even international if necessary? There don't seem to be any GBs around so just need an electronics distributor.
I need these to mod some LED...
Hi Mac,

It all depends on what you want to do. Personally I have built a lot of Alkaline powered 3Ds for friends. It's still very bright, and they seem to last long enough, still MILES better than a standard 3D Mag. I do put in some AMC7135 drivers, as more of a safety measure for fresh batteries not...
