The N52 magnets are really strong so it easily holds the ZL even when encased in epoxy. And yes I had store-bought epoxy coated magnet but the epoxy film was too thin and it scratched away easily, so I had to make my own casing.
Hi,
For all who want have a tail magnet on H604 you can see what I did with some epoxy resin and a magnet. You can find more info here https://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?456594-Zebralight-H604-disk-magnet-for-tailcap&p=5350507&viewfull=1#post5350507
Hi all - just a follow up.
I've ended up gluing a magnet on the tailcap of the ZL for extra protection of the magnet from cracks.
If anyone is interested this is what I got:
- N52 disk magnet from KJ magnets with dimensions 3/4" dia. x 1/8".
- Silicone mold made from familymolds with dimensions...
Hi all,
I want to know if I would have any problems maintaining good contact between the battery and the headlamp if I use this cell? As you can see the positive contact of the battery is a bit recessed and I've ordered ZL H604c, so I don't know what the pins inside the battery tube look like...
So what kind of pocket clip is that? The original that they have on the official zebralight website or is it something else. Also what kind of magnets did you use. And you are right that this way you can position the flashlight at more angles.
Yes I would like to glue it outside of the tailcap but I'm open to the option to having a pocket clip with magnets. So if you can elaborate more on what dimensions the magnet should be and what to glue it with that would be great.
Hi,
Can anyone with previous experience of sticking a disk magnet to the tailcap of ZL H604 please tell me which dimensions the magnet should be. And if you have any instructions on how to glue it on that would be great.
Thanks
Hi all,
I can't seem to find how many Kelvins is the tint of the Armytek Wizard Pro v3 XHP50 white and warm versions. I have seen some reviews where people complain that the worm version is way too warm :)
So can someone tell me which version do you guys prefer.
