    Smallest tool with most things?

This is an old web site, although the tool is still available, currently badged as an IDL T10. My experience with it was mixed. Sometime last year I had ordered one partly because it was US made, according to the ad. When it arrived I was greatly disappointed to find it made in China__not that...

    Inexperienced Stupid Knife Question

What separates us from the animals is superstition and meaningless rituals. :grin2:

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

Probably I wasn't clear. Those differences between them you describe I was already familiar with, having owned both. What I meant to ask was about ST200 quality, which you described as "shocking." I didn't have my ST200 long enough to really wring it out, but it seemed to be built pretty much...

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

Although I carried and used an original Super Tool for many years, I have only a brief experience with a ST 200. What differences have you found between them? They look and feel the same to me.

Leatherman Micra Sleeve fits Squirt, or 1xAA cell, or 2xAAA cells

Got a response from Leatherman, copied and pasted as follows: Thank you for contacting us. We used to have a sleeve for the Squirt, but we don't offer that one anymore. However, the sheath for the Mini tool works really well for the Squirt tool...

Leatherman Micra Sleeve fits Squirt, or 1xAA cell, or 2xAAA cells

Different sizes, I believe. My wife's Squirt does not fit into my Micra sheath. But I still don't know why they show up on a vendor web site as different products, each with its own product number, but not on the Leatherman site. I sent them an email about this, now awaiting reply.

Leatherman Micra Sleeve fits Squirt, or 1xAA cell, or 2xAAA cells

Well, I checked the Leatherman web site and there is no dedicated Squirt sheath listed. However, Optics Planet offers a "Squirt only" sheath #934860 and a Micra sheath #930902, both leather. I dont know why they are not so catalogued on the Leatherman site.:confused...

Leatherman Micra Sleeve fits Squirt, or 1xAA cell, or 2xAAA cells

The Micra sleeve is intended for the Micra only. It is much too snug for any of the Squirts, which are a bit thicker. Leatherman does offer a Squirt sleeve, same price.

    Leatherman Wave, CHIPPED!!!

In 13 years with several Leatherman models in different sizes I have yet to break any of them, although a couple came out of the box with flaws and needed warranty service to make them right. Each time the tools were returned, functioning perfectly, in 10 days or less. Although there have been...

    Leatherman Wave, CHIPPED!!!

Send it to Leatherman, ask if it can be fixed, see how they respond. Maybe things will work out :) .

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

Here's the kneeslapper; I applaud the Super Tool 300, think it's valid upgrade of a classic line, but certainly will probably won't be getting one :grin2:. When I need a multitool of that type, my Core does fine.

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

That's you, me and at least 2 more posting I have spotted around here (but don't remember when or where, exactly) who each carried an original Super Tool 9 years and then went on to a Charge. Could there be something to this?  :ooo:

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

It doesn't do anything the others don't, nor should it. All subsequent models, ST 200, Core, ST 300, appear to be refinements of the original Super Tool, not really new models. I liked the original version, thought Leatherman got it right with the tool set, but was put off by the clumsy and...

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

 I can't tell anything about that from the posted photo. What are you looking at?

    Leatherman Supertool 300!

I would join in boycotting Leatherman for this outrage, but my indignation is lessened a bit because at least 2 of the 3 superfluous screwdrivers have sometimes been useful to me. Back in the Pleistocene Era when I started carrying a multitool (SAK knockoff), the opposite was true. Most screws...
