I'm in need to some additional cells for my HDS rotary. It's an EDC and my cells are getting a bit tired.

Now that AW is no longer, what is the "go-to" cell for QUALITY protected 16340's?

I don't need, nor do I care for, USB charging on the cell itself so hard pass on those.

Thanks.

I see Nitecore has a 950mah cell. Is that capacity real?
See the last 2 sets of numbers in this post for NL169. The answer is that depending on discharge voltage cutoff setting used (I used 2.8V - not 2.5V, as some manufacturers spec) and discharge current used (I used 1.0 & .5A in this test), the best answer is likely: 'yes, there or thereabouts'. If tested w/ the Opus 3100 (which I did not do for the NL169), they'd likely measure above label rating. Close enough for me.

My favorite one to use with my HDS was the Vapecell INR 16340.
I also used the efest and fenix 16340s without issues or noticeable differences.
