For the brightest set up, (the potted axial 4 volt?) how many lumens is the output?

I'm interested, in the 1D 4AA, but not sure what to use for the light engine.

I'm VERY interested in one of your 1D mags but I'm unfamiliar with the 2 bulbs for this light with 4AA's. Could I get some specs on them such as lumen output and bulb life, volt,etc.
Also, what about using 4 AA Alkalines in an emergency for this?
Is the clicky switch modified

Axial bulb is rated 4 volt, 3.5 amp and don't even think of using alkalines.

This is almost what I have been waiting for. Are you going to do another run of the 1D bored out for 4 lithiums with the charge port in the tailcap? I really want one I can just plug in and go, rather than remove the batteries everytime.
