22 awg sufficient for Streamlight Survivor 18650 mod?

So I've made a prototype carriage for letting a non X Streamlight Survivor flashlight accept 2x 18650 in parallel instead of 4x AA in series. I 3d printed the carriage and wired it using 22 AWG.

Knowing the potential dangers of 18650 batteries, is 22 AWG more than sufficient for the wiring?I have done some tests and even had it run more than 12 hours straight but I'm still not that confident about the wire.

I might be a little late for the party but you would have to know what the current draw is on the cells. 22AWG is only rated for 0.92 amps according to this chart. Personally I do not use anything under 18AWG for any project but that might just be my paranoia.
