Hello,
I have an acebeam L30 with a 20700 battery. The battery is showing 4v when I test it but I cannot get it to turn on using the battery. The light does turn on when I am plugged into a micro usb cable. I tried two fresh CR123 and a fresh nitecore charged 18650. These seem a bit rattlely in the shaft and it will not power on.
I was hoping to get it to work on an alternate battery before buying a new 20700 that I would not be able to use if the flashlight is truly defective on any battery. I love this little light and hope I can get it back to working order, so I thought I would post here to see if there are any recommendations to help me out.
