Hi everybody,

I'm sure you will pick up right off the bat that I don't know much about lights. However I'm searching for a good one, and I prefer the 2*AAA shape for my carry method. However, as I search for a light, I keep running into the problem that many of the lights of this size that seem to fit my needs in every other regard, do not have pocket clips. The pocket clip is very important to me.

So my question is, is there a method of adding pocket clips to lights of this size that works generally? Like some sort of generic clip that clamps into standard lanyard holes or can be squeezed down to clip onto lights within a certain range of sizes?

Thanks for the help.

I'm looking for a pocket clip for an 18650 light I'm modifying at the moment and I'm fast learning that they generally are only available (in the style you have mentioned) for the smaller EDC type lights (MacCustoms Tri-EDC, McGizmo etc). Here are some I found that might suit your light but unfortunately not mine. I may end up making my own (or getting someone else to d it for me) as they are not long enough.

There was one more than was a cheap knock off of McGizmo's Ti clip but I can't find it. Of course there is also the original McGizmo Ti clip.

Hope some of that helps!

Thank you for the links Mattaus that is basically what I am looking for, I will have to look into whether any may be suitable to fit to the lights I am looking at.

jorgen, you are absolutely right, and thanks for the links. The Preon 2 is basically the perfect light for what I am looking for, and actually the LD05 fits pretty well too. I am however trying to find something a bit cheaper and none of the similar shaped/functioning lights I can find seem to have clips. It looks like it probably wont be feasible and Ill just have to shell out the cash (well credit in my case) if I want a light that meets my specs.

Thanks for the help, and if anybody else thinks of something or thinks of another light that might work, Ill appreciate the info.
