I will be building a few Aleph 3 MC-E drop it kits. The kit consists of

-Cree MC-E latest Bin (WC tint)
-2.1 amp driver board with 3 levels plus strobe and SOS
-Fraen MC-E Reflector with adapter ring for Aleph Head
-Custom Heatsink (Light Engine)
-This package runs from a *single* Li-Ion cell

I'm hoping to keep the package $99 or under if I get enough requests. If your interested please post here.

The upgrade will be as easy as unscrewing the bezel removing the lens and reflector and dropping in the new assembly.

That's the sort of easiness that I like. (Hence my username :D)
In that case I am pleased to be the first to register my interest for a change.
Well more than interest really. Its a done deal if you make them. ;)

Especialy if low is real low I could be in for one.

Is the reflector a 38mm?... or is it smaller and thats what the adaptor ring is for? If so how big is the reflector?

I've been meaning to do a triple Seoul/18mm mod in mine but, an MC-E might change my mind.

Sounds like an awsome idea Mac:twothumbs... can't wait to see more.

 Thanks for remembering me. I feel like an old dinosaur.... haha :sick2:

Nice to see the technology continue to advance.
These MC-E's......wow! Amazing how much light these things can output. I guess gone are the days when 80 lumens was considered super bright.

 WP

Yes I remember those days. They seem like not that long ago at all.

With this drop-in, the output should be in the region of 400-500 out the front lumens.
(and that's not pushing the MC-E to its max. by any means)
