That's the worst part of having snakes; feeding creatures to them. Thing is, feeding live is typically a fairly brief demise. I have concerns about how the dead rodents for snake food are put down.

My friend with the Burmese used to feed her chicken parts. Once on vacation, he had his brother watching the animal, who happened to be preparing chicken. The smell was in the air and apparently on the brother's hand. The snake struck and would not let go, leading the brother to use hot water from the sink faucet to redirect the snake.

In the words of Brothers Kratt, 'we love all animals, seeing them free and in the wild.'

I hear areas of Florida is interesting place to live for herpetologist, or reptile bounty hunters..
During Winter cold snaps, watching green iguana's dropping out of trees must be fun to experience.
