Anybody disassembled a LF2XT light engine?

I'd like to know if anyone hast successfully disassembled a LF2XT light engine? On the side with the LED there are two additional soldering points and it looks like wires are in this soldering points.

I'd like to seperate the PCB with the LED and the bottom PCB with the battery contact from the small aluminium tube. Anyone did this?

I've taken apart the LF3XT and LF5XT and they were of similar construction. I don't see anything to make me think the 2Xt would be any different.

They are of similar construction. Bansuri's method will work with the 2xt, though a vacuum tip is a little tighter with the smaller 2xt pill. I use desoldering braid.
A little tip for the re-assembly though. Grind about .5 mm from around the LED pcb and thermal epoxy it to the Al pill holder. Before the epoxy sets, place the reflector on the holder to check LED placement. Re-adjust as necessary. Allow the epoxy to set before reinserting the electronics.
