Some very dark areas outside of the main beam, I hope it's mostly the cam's fault. And it looks like he might have aimed the Edelux a bit lower than the Luxos. That small Luxos hotspot and the surrounding, Lyt-like "mattress-shape" do look distractive, I'd prefer to find the hotspot substantially farther away than just 30 ft down the road.

I aim my light farther down the road (compared to the movie) and the hotspot becomes a little more diffuse, but if you aim it too far away, I've found that it's harder to see road hazards and road quality. In any event, it is easy to see in the video the difference in terms of beam width. My guess is that the exposure is not maintained constant between videos and that the Edelux would be substantially brighter as far as the absolute light output within the beam itself.
