These look interesting, but I wonder what would the cycle life be.

I'd argue longer life cycle since the higher capacity, you need to recharge them less often.
2A recharging won't even stress those, at all.

It depends. If you pay a cycle life penalty equal (or less) than a gain in capacity, it's all OK. However, usually it is more.

Yeah but is it credible? Overstating lumens/mAh/etc. is common in the industry. Plainly I do not believe it.

There are tests on that cell.
It's not like some light on ebay with a single xml emitter saying it has 40,000 lumens..
