I've been working on a custom order, for a CR123 sized Stainless Steel Damscus light, but since the heat treating is expensive, due to the small lot charge, I needed to send at least two lights along, so I've made another 18650 light as well.
Here are the two bodies, ready to be shipped to the heat treater:
Both will be etched, but unlike some of the other etched SS Damascus lights, I intend to polish the facets on these lights, so they will be shiny and stand in marked contrast to the darker etched grooves.
The CR123 light has been milled for four Trit vials to be installed by the customer.
The 18650 light could also be milled for Trit slots, but that will be up to the eventual buyer--for now I'm inclined to leave it unslotted.

Got the lights back from the heat treating company and went to work etching them today. Here's how they came out:

Head of the 18650 light--spiraling facets were sanded down to make them shinier than the etched surface, in order to accentuate the pattern.
