Hello everyone I just bought a Coleman 1000 luman lantern, obviously it's not 1000 Lumens but it sure is bright, I want to put an xpl hi 3D into the lantern. Their are a total of five Led's, their are five yellow wires on the mcpcb and two white wires. Iam I guessing right the the five yellow wires are positive and the two white are negative.

Best picture I can get at the moment, their are two white wires on the bottom left next to a single yellow wire, the rest of the yellow wires are spread out on the mcpcb.

check powered up with a multimeter, a - will tell you if your polarity is connected proper or reverse. Hope that help's.

The picture may be a little blurry, but if you can't see what is their, a prettier picture is not going to help anyone diagnose the question,,,, in my opinion.

Just tested with volt meter open circuit when negative probe on white wire, positive probe on yellow. So I guess I could combine yellow wires to positive side and wite to negative.

Well got it all put together what I thought was a xpl hi 3D was actually a cool white, still not bad, took awhile to find a good diffuser found a bottle cap made that work. Lights up a room 40 feet by 30 really well
