I got the blade blank for Christmas ( Xmas for some ) .
Which is fine as I enjoy gripping a blade blank ( A little DIY ) .
This year , there might be more DIY ! If I can source decent blade blanks !

The Condor ..
My HRC files - the 55HRC file just bit & the 50HRC file skated . Yeah , the blade could have been harder !
Factory edge was ............... poor ! So no testing factory edge .
Resharpened to have a micro bevel as the blade is thin and the grind is high making for a weak apex !
On the rope the fail came at 200 slices , but the edge stropped back very strong ( Quick N Dirty wood strop )

The spine was plenty 90 degree and scrapped wood and ferro well enough !
Hmmmmmmm , As far as Scandi goes , it's not very good ! Yes it will do the job , but at this price point it gets it's beehive handed to it by cheaper knives . ( Other Scandi ) . I did not over pay as I got the blade blank VIA Amazon Sale ! So for me it's reasonable value for money ! But to buy one at full retail = ??

Was my first Condor ...
Hmmmm , Ho Humming over the Terrasaur .. ( 1095 )
Might be OK if it's 60HRC or higher .. (?)
But so many knives are Soft ! ( My opinion )

I have a D2 knife that runs over 65HRC ( harder than my 65HRC file ) and the edge retention and stability is insane ...
It's a folding knife , so I wont be using it as a prybar .
