You have a... Wall-E lathe?

I knew that light looked familiar...

Nice Photoshop work, John. You are close, but since it is from the German speaking portion of Switzerland, it is actually pronounced Vahl - e.

You have outdone yourself again...
:twothumbs

One Q:

How the heck do those ball bearing balls stay put?
Did you install them from the inside with the window pressing on them from behind?
Do they stay put if you whack the light or drop it?

someone really needs to dedicate a thread to all your lights -

in a very short space of time you are up there with data, mr bulk, mcgizmo, TB etc

i love how every light is so different yet none is better than another all just outstanding

I concur to all of the above!:)

Hi Benny,

The silicon nitride bearings are pressed into place from the front--in holes drilled from the front--the holes are blind, they do not go through to the interior of the light. Or, as my friend suggested, they look as though they are buckshot, fired into the light.

They are extremely secure, although I suppose with the right amount of force, one could dislodge, but it is unlikely.

Also, those bearings are extremely hard and extremely smooth. I would suggest that they will look great a lot longer than I will.
