Doesn't that mean that it's not eternal then? ;)

The AW IMR 18350 does sound like a good cell. From what I hear, AW was unsure of market demand on these cells, so let's hope that there is enough CPF demand to ensure future production runs. :)
LOL. Yes. Is there a term for "formerly eternal?"

In any case, I've done my part and ordered a pair to try out and they are working admirably in my Milky Gossamer. I did notice one curious thing though, they don't seem as dense as the 16340s. With one in each hand, they feel "fluffier." Not exactly the same weight as the 16340 but noticeably lighter than one might anticipate based on it's greater girth. I don't have a gram scale and I'm unsure what this means, but it did strike me as curious.

Looks like 18g vs 21g, so 17% more weight for 27% more capacity.
Ahh, thanks for making the measurement. So is this the expected scaling? A larger diameter means more layers of internal structure. In other words, does the capacity properly scale to volume or weight or some combination of both?
