Look at this thing!!

Efest LUC Blu6 Bluetooth 6-Bay Lithium-Ion Charger

I just saw it on the Mtn Electronics site and it looks pretty impressive. Not a bad price either. .5A, 1A, 2A charge rate (1Ax6 possible). Wow!

Not compatible with iOS...yet.

When they say the iOS app is coming, I'm sure it is. It just takes Apple 12.8 years to approve it. I just went through this. I don't blame them, that's just how it is.

Because I'm too lazy to save and rehost a photo, here are some specs:

Product Features:

  • 6 Bay Battery Charger
    • Independent Charging Rate and Charge Monitoring
    • Supports 10440/14500/14650/16340/16650/17650/17670/17350/18490/18500/18650/26500/26650
    • Three Charging Currents of 0.5A/1A/2A
    • Maximum Total Charging Current of 2A
    • Note: Slot 1 and Slot 6 can charge at a rate of 2A, Slots 2 to 5 can be charged 0.5A or 1.0A
  • Companion App for Bluetooth 4.0 Enabled Devices
    • Supported by Android 4.3 and newer, iOS7 and newer (iOS7 App Pending)
  • High Definition OLED Display
    • Night Time Energy Saving Mode
  • Stainless Steel Springs
    • High Durability
    • Rated for 10,000+ Tensile Activation

I'd probably buy one if it wasn't PURPLE :) Just kidding, sort of

I just got one.

Trick : it can also charge 32650 batteries : just need a washer or coin to make + contact. If 32260 batteries are to be charged, the slots 2 and 5 cannot be used. 32650 are not in the specs, but they can be charged. This is a bonus.

But the charger I got is inaccurate : when the OLED display says 4.2 V, my 40,000 counts multimeter says 4.12 V (battery full); same with a 2000 counts multimeter. Readings are off by 0.08 to 0.1V.

Specs = 0.01 accuracy (but a 3 digits voltmeter cannot give 0.01 V accuracy !)

It isn't purple, it is black.

Sorry, I have to double post, as I cannot edit my previous post (I can't even see it...)

Previous posts are wrong about currents : Maximum Total Charging Current if 4 amps, not 2 amps. I tested with 2x 32650 at 2A each (using washers to make + contact).

If slots 1 and 6 are in use at max (2A + 2A), slots 2-3-4-5 are disabled until slots 1 and/or 2 are fully charged. If slots 1 and 6 are charging at 1 amp, slots 2-3-4-5 can charge at 0.5 A.
