The BB groovy is really nice looking. That's the best photo I've seen of them.

Re: Endeavour's Getting Out of Modding Sale

Hey Folks,

If you got free LEDs/Reflectors, I need your mailing address so I can send those out to you. Please e-mail it over to me whenever convenient. :)

Bob_G: I'll keep you in mind if it's broken up. I'd really prefer to sell it as a package, though.

Isaac: Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out as well, I bead blasted them for PhotonFanatic a few months ago and took a few photos. It's been sitting in a drawer for a long time now, though, and it'd be better suited for someone who can actually give it some use; it's very bright but I've got other, smaller lights that I EDC.

I'll be snapping a few photos of the golden FF2 and putting the eBay link up in the next few days. I've also added a Royal Blue NG1000 Light Engine to the sales lineup.

GreenLED: Sure. The reflectors & LEDs are 100% free anyway, including shipping. My "pay-it-forward" if you will, for the generosity that was shown to me when I first showed up here as a newbie. I'm happy to ship it out in one box for you, though. :)

Re: Endeavour's Getting Out of Modding Sale

Hey folks,

If someone's willing to take the remaining Aleph shell, I can throw in the Royal Blue light engine at less than parts cost at $50.

A few items shipped early today, and a couple more will leave tomorrow. Please let me know when your parts arrive. Also, a few folks have claimed items and e-mailed or PMed me (even though I did say e-mail ;)), and I've not received any word from you since - please let me know one way or the other on the parts you'd like as soon as possible. :)

How idiot proof is the LE kit? and assuming they are, is the LED the only piece left to aquire?

Re: Endeavour's Getting Out of Modding Sale

wmpwi: The LE kit isn't too difficult to assemble. I messed up my first one somehow a long time ago, unsure of the cause, but it taught me quick to check to make sure everything works along the way. If you follow the instructions posted on Don or kj's website, and check periodically to make sure the LED lights and the convertor works, you'll be fine.

You need a convertor, and an LED in addition to the LE Kit.
