I'm looking for any comments on whether or not the Fenix TK35UE V2.0 could possibly/realistically be mountable to a soldier's helmet, and if so, any logistical recommendations would be appreciated.
Or, is this a silly question in that headlamps for soldiers are more typically used for general getting around in "camp" but not in active fighting, other than perhaps close quarters combat, in which case a smaller flashlight would be sufficient and less weighty as well. And that typically, during nightime and low light operations, they'd be using night vision goggles.
