Yes, it can be used with 3 123's so 8.3 V should be no problem...

Yes, it can! I have a DB917 TVOK also and I'm going to use two of the up/coming JSB123 Li-Ion's. I'm also waiting on a E4 body so I can use two Pila's 168S too! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was a good deal and I do like to help when I can.

I think you should get a McE2S two stage switch for it, and it will become an all the time EDC.
