Plug the above URL into Safari or any other browser on your Apple device.

The problem is that the app isn't picking up the correct coding.

This is the correct code. http://asflashlights.com/home/25-p6...6500k_n4/57-user_interface-guppy2drv_24_group

Here is what the app picks up. http://asflashlights.com/home/25-p6...6500k_n4/57-user_interface-guppy2drv_24_group

After the HTML the app picks up a percentage %23/33 while the correct code uses the pound symbol #33.

The link provided doesn't work.

I have replaced it. Perhaps it will work now? Maybe I was logged in as admin?

whats a good host for this?

I use a bore out Surefire 6P with a solarforce body extension my self. Probly some of the above listed setups are better though.

Perhaps a silly question: do you sell drop-ins for the Convoy S2+? Thanks. Also clarification on the P60 drop-ins: I have read copper foil without adhesive is superior for heat transfer, what is your opinion?

I dont make a straight dropin for the S2+ but I do have custom S2+ available in my shop. Triple XPG3 etc.

I think copper foil helps. This bulb is desinged to make contact near the top where the "V" shape part of the bulb is. You could put copper tape around the lower part for better transfer, just make sure the tape does not stop the bulb from being pressed all the way down so the "V" makes contact.

A quick question..
Some of the XHP70 emitter photo here looks like they are shaved/dedomed.. Is that the case?

I don't know if any of the ones in the pics are like that or not. So far I only remember ever doing one like that. It did work quite well though. The beam did develop a bit tighter hot spot and some throw.

I suppose I can add that as an option to the listing.

Are the FET drivers used in conjunction with the Adventure sport and Dr Jones drivers or are they a seperate driver option itself?

I want the brightest dropin option as possible. [emoji41]

The driver in all my lights is a Mosfet. This means the emitters are essentially direct drive for maximum output. Either of the 2 user interfaces can be applied to the micro chip. Neither has any effect on max output, only on what the lower modes will be.

Ordered the drop in per our pm discussion.

Looking forward to one of your ramping UI with this drop-in.

Will send the other items we discussed soon.

I considered the dr jones driver but I have always wandered why does any driver not have a 50/60% mode? my ideal modes would be 10-60-100 for this driver.

If I want moonlight I have plenty of other less powerful lights with this feature. This dropin is designed to be run bright so a 60%ish mode is a great compromise between runtime/hear vs getting the most out of the dropin

30% of 3000 lumens is only 900 lumens....not enough. LOL. Maybe 70% with 2100 lumens to keep it from getting to hot would be good enough. lOL

I find the 30% more than enough for tasks and walks with keeping a little check on the heat side. Once you get over 2000lm type outputs, heat is not on your side. Of course if using a larger host than I am, it will help out a lot. The Sportac triple on 100% is maybe 700ish lumens, that is pretty bright! Just this beam is far nicer with no optics in the way(and brighter) on 30%.

Look forward to your impressions

I think 30% is power not lumens or usually is on FET drivers IME.
Meaning it'll be more 50-60% output.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong :)

I usually wish for a lower medium like 20% since 30 can get quite hot even outdoors.
