Gladius (Lux III) - Dead Batteries After 6 Months

Great thread. After the long wait of finally obtaining a Gladius, I was disappointed about the lack of recharging options. Finding a set of drained batteries when I went to use it a few weeks ago really turned me off to the light. I was thinking about selling it, but was concerned about selling a light that might be defective. After reading this thread, I think I am going to keep it. Backing out the cap a little to stop the drain solves my problem, and being able to use rechargeable batteries that I already have has made it a different light to me now. Thanks for all the input and links.
