HELP: SF E2LAA-A (KE1B head) on an E1L body. Will it work?

I think Surefire has discontinued the E1L, sadly. It's not listed on their site anymore.
I've had mine for years now and it's still going strong. I have the old KX1 head on it. I still love this thing.

I realized that last week. Surefire does not list E1L-A on their website anymore. This is really sad. IMHO, the "old" E1L is the best flashlight ever built: small, natural HA, TIR optics, good balance between output and runtime, low mode first, agressive knurling, water resistant... I love it!
