The Fiskars/Gerber Hatchet's which I've seen all had a moulded plastic (type material) sheath which attached to a belt or pack strap.

Did yours not come with the sheath or do you want to replace it with another type?

It came with a "SHEATH" but it's not really a sheath, it has a handle that you can hang it up, it's big and bulky! Just need something to cover the edge! It's gonna go in my BOB....

Thanks for any help.....

I found a leather one, but I can't pay $45.00 for it.....:sick2:

you can make on in about 10 minutes with a piece of scrap leather. you make a simple envelope with a slit at the bottom for the handle to go through. You can make belt slots if you want and a flap with snap or rope and button closure depending upon taste. You can buy the snap kits and gun for a few bucks at most craft shops.
