I bought a lamp at Ikea and I'm confused as to what bulb to use in it. The box says max 7 watt bulbs.

The sockets in the lamp say type b e12 bulbs.

Ikea says they "recommend" 200 lumen LED bulbs.

I already have plenty of E12 7 watt FLOURESCENTS can I use those safely instead of LED'S?

Also, the 200 lumen led that Ikea recommends is only 4.5 watts? That is super confusing since the box says 7 watt e12 not included.

Yes. The bulb will fit mechanically and your power requirements are safe for the unit. The light won't care what technology you run.

What about the heat difference? A fluorescent will be hotter than an LED right?

The lampshade is a paper material. The lamp is 54 inches tall and takes 6 bulbs. Each bulb is staggered on opposite sides and they are about 6 inches apart heightwise.

With that set up will I still be good with fluorescent bulbs??

Thanks!
