Will be good to see you again, I guess you HID will be a bit to heavy for the day?

You are right, the 6000lm HID won't get to come out and play this time, but the throwers are fun despite having a fraction of the output.

I'm having to travel light due to my itinerary for the day.

A few things are on the way, but won't make it in time, so instead I'll bring a few interesting throwers including a zoom XML and a recoil thrower. How many others will just depend on how heavy my bag is and if I'm prepared to cart it around all day.

Blue_LED asked for a TK41; although I have one, it might weigh me down too much, has anyone coming by car got one?

Just bring your good self sir. It would be really nice to catch up.

Just stumbled across this thread.... I'm aiming on making it along with my TM11 and others :)

Is the nearest tube Hampstead Heath on the Northern line?

Excellent another CPFer and with another tiny monster to boot. That should make txt101 happy.

The closest tube is Hampstead on the Northern Line.

I need to get some new foam for the box'o'lumens as the torch collection has changed over time since i originally set it up... So, they might all be coming wrapped in bubble wrap in a rucksack instead

Looking forward to seeing your tritium project... I might be bringing along a tritium project that's a collaboration between Am and me... 99.9% pure silver mount for a tritium cell as a pendant. :) (Am's working on the silver)

I've re-booked the table for nine of us. So meet in the bar from four and dinner at Seven.

We will need a large table for the lights!

PLUS! Wrap up warm - we may not be about to beat the cold of last year's Devil's Dyke meet, but it will be Brrr weather (at least for this townie) - Thermal underwear ahoy! (and lots of food). Hats n gloves as well as EDC's.

Yup, nearest tube is Hampstead.

Then turn left out of the station and walk downhill along Hampstead High Street (which becomes Rosslyn Hill) and then left into Downshire Hill. The Freemason's Arms is on the left at the far end (Just before you get to The East Heath) you can't miss it.

Last tubes from Hampstead are normally midnight up to half past, depending on your destination.

Mark, remember Im giving you a lift home :)

Hhahahahah yes mate, I know , I know - I'm planning my way there. With out TX101 (the human sat nav) I might get lost.

I thought of another light I would like you to bring along, the surefire (M1?) that our friend did the lathe work on a while back? I'd love to see the work and how it all goes together.

There is parking in the surrounding streets. I'm not too sure the hours are the same as in the other post - I'll cycle by there for a shuffty today or tomorrow.

Didn't someone park in a car park at the end of the street on the common for the first part of the evening and then move to the road later ?

Yes that was TX101. The common/park car park at the end of the road was locked around 8 to 8:30 ~I think. there were signs giving details. Then moved out into the street. Some of the streets had resident only parking areas, so you need to take care where you park. Mind you that was a couple of years ago now! So it may well have changed.
