Nice! I do not have this light, the GT94Xvn, but I do have two original flavor GT94 stock, so I can say that this item is an adrenaline racing, heart racing light. Think super duper power throw performance, edge of the known flashlight world beam performance and beam profile. This is a must have item!

Last post was in Febr, but I just ordered one from the http://lumintoplighting.com web site, shipped already.

Does anyone know the amount of waste heat produced by the SBT90.2 LED(s) in this flashlight and temperature of the LED when run at high output as well as any of the lower outputs?

I've been searching the specs but don't see that number called out or the % efficiency of the LED to calculate from either. I did however find this showing the host temperature when the diodes are run at 7 amps of current each, a total of 28 amps, if accurate: https://1lumen.com/review/lumintop-gt94x/

This is the highest temperature I measured with the thermal controller disabled.
Unquote.

With the thermal regulator enabled, the article at the above link indicated the host will not reach higher than 60 C.

I'm actually more interested in knowing the host temperature so this will do for max, but I'm wondering what temperature the host is (where the diodes mount) at 25-50% output. I want to extrapolate the host temperature where the diodes mount at 100 watts of waste heat into the host, so any data could be helpful in regards to how well the heat sink fins on this flashlight keep the diode temperature down when run at half power and lower.

When I get mine, I will try to get this information for myself, but I don't have a thermal camera. I should get one, need to find the best bang for the buck for one.
