I was wondering if dedoming the 219C 5000K would make it a tad warmer and more of my liking. I've seen people over at BLF been able to dedome this LED.

Have you tried dedoming the 219C Vinh?

Thanks,,,,,What were your voltages at the time periods mentioned with the VTC5 and the K'Power 3500?

Different light but same concept. This is in regards to My M2Xvn XML2 U3 PDT DD/Single Mode light. I use the VTC5 and other comparable IMR batteries. For the VTC5 AFTER 20 MINUTES the voltage is 3.72v. I would guess at that point[when I put another fresh one in] it is ~ 65/70% max output. My point being, the M30Cvn having so much more initial output[2100L to ~1200L]
than the M2X,would most certainly have to be LESS than 65% initial output after 27m 45s which is almost 8 minutes longer than I run a light which demands less of the battery life.:)

See post # 147 for KP 3500 protected runtime test

See post #150 for VTC5 runtime test

They both were run down to 3.23v at the end when the light shutdown.

At the end of either run the light is under 1000 lumen output. Start at 2100 lumens and when battery is depleted probably around 800 lumens.

Thanks Mike.

VTC5 BELOW

10 min. run (16 total)
3.56v 3.63amps

For my liking I would be changing my IMR battery in ~ 12 Minutes!

EDIT: MY M2Xvn U3 was @ 3.64v after 20 minutes[ 5 MIN. INCREMENTS W/5 MINUTES REST]. "NOT" 3.72V THAT I LISTED IN POST # 200. I CAN NOT RELY ON MY MEMORY ANYMORE!

219B @ 4500K = "creamy"
219B @ 5000K = whiter than white :) absolute perfection

Do you use the diffuser more often than not? I seem to use it maybe 25% of the time. It definitely turns the light into a very smooth flooder. What do you guys think of the diffuser?
